Differences between Windows 11 Pro and Windows 11 Home
Windows – is an operating system that is currently one of the most commonly used solutions. There are different versions of this system, starting from Windows 1.0, which was released in 1995, up to Windows 11 presented in 2021. Each version can also be divided into types, there are several of them, but two of them are of particular interest to users: Windows Pro and Home. In this article, we will discuss the main differences between the two editions, as well as find out when Windows 10 will end support and whether Microsoft plans to introduce a new operating system.

Security features
Windows 11 Pro offers more advanced security features compared to the Home version. For example, Win 11 Pro allows you to manage BitLocker, which allows you to encrypt hard drives. In addition, it includes the BitLocker To Go tool, which allows you to encrypt portable devices such as pen drives.
Domain management
If you need to join your computer to a domain in a company or organization, Windows 11 Pro is essential. The Home version does not support this feature, in the Home edition you can only join a home group. This difference is the most common reason for paying attention to the version of the system.
Remote Desktop Features
Windows 11 Pro allows you to remotely connect to your computer using the Remote Desktop feature, which is useful for companies to manage remote computers. This feature is not available in the Home edition. There is no way to connect to a remote desktop on a Home edition computer.

Price
Windows 11 Pro is more expensive version system compared to Windows 11 Home due to additional features and capabilities.
End of support for Windows 10
Microsoft has announced that Windows 10 will end support on October 14, 2025. This means that no security updates or new features will be released after that date. For users, this means that they will be exposed to potential threats related to security flaws in the operating system. Using a system that has lost support increases the chances of falling victim to a cybercriminal who can exploit a security hole in the system, which, due to no update will not be repaired. For this reason, it is recommended to upgrade to a newer version of Windows or another operating system to keep your computer secure.
