Wi-Fi design and installation for warehouses

Briefly about Wi-Fi design and installation

A wireless Wi-Fi network in a high-bay warehouse must operate without interruption—even 15 meters above the ground, between racks, metal structures, and in harsh industrial environments. We provide comprehensive design and implementation of such networks—from audit to configuration and service.

A well-designed Wi-Fi network is the basis for efficient operation WMS systems, radio terminals, barcode scanners, and labeling machines. Our solutions are tailored to the needs of the logistics, transportation, and e-commerce industries.

Most common problems

Tall shelves and metal structures dampen the signal, causing devices to lose connection with WMS or SAP.

Reach trucks lose their signal at heights above 5 metres – making the work of operators difficult.

The network is not optimized for mobile devices – data transfer is delayed or interrupted.

Previous installations were done "by eye", without coverage maps or radio audits.

Too low a density of access points or their installation behind shelves results in dead zones.

There may be other Wi-Fi networks or machines emitting interference in the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band operating in the hall.

Lack of roaming configuration or proper bandwidth management means that the failure of one AP blocks the entire station.

The network was not adapted to the requirements server infrastructure or cloud – e.g. Microsoft 365, SAP Business One, etc.

The network must meet certain security standards – VLAN segmentation, WPA2-Enterprise encryption, firewall.

Terminals often "hang" when switching between zones - which causes session loss or system errors.

One common network for the warehouse and office is a potential risk for the entire IT infrastructure.

No automatic channel allocation, low priorities for critical devices, no QoS policies.

What can we do for you?

Wi-Fi audit with coverage map

We perform site survey measurements and signal coverage analysis – also at a height of 10–15 m.

Installation of access points at high altitudes

We provide installation on rack structures, suspensions or masts – with UDT approvals.

Wi-Fi network redundancy and reliability

We ensure continuous operation of devices even in the event of a single access point failure.

Monitoring and alerting about failures

We configure remote device monitoring and SMS/email alerts in the event of a loss of connectivity.

Network design for a high-bay warehouse

We create a plan for the location of access points – taking into account racking, structures and interference.

Controller and VLAN configuration

We segment traffic, set roaming, QoS and security – in accordance with IT or ISO 27001 requirements.

Traffic and guest network segmentation

We create separate networks for the office, production, logistics and external contractors.

Wi-Fi network service and maintenance

We provide regular service and updates – also remotely.

Selection and delivery of industrial-grade Wi-Fi equipment

We help you select the AP that best suits your warehouse conditions – e.g. Ubiquiti, Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba.

Integration with WMS, ERP or Microsoft 365

A network prepared for data synchronization with cloud systems and local servers.

Training for the client's IT team

We provide documentation, coverage maps, and teach how to manage the Wi-Fi network.

Migrating from an old Wi-Fi solution

We replace outdated systems with modern and efficient ones – without interrupting warehouse operations.

Why us

We know the realities of warehouse work

We design networks with the operation of terminals, scanners and labelers in mind – even at heights.

Experience with WMS and SAP systems

We know the requirements of logistics systems – we adapt the infrastructure to them.

We operate locally and remotely

We service halls in Warsaw, Pruszków, Ożarów and the surrounding area – but we also implement networks throughout Poland.

Notifications via the system, email and telephone

We handle requests via the ticketing system, but also in person – by phone, WhatsApp and Teams.

Quick answers

Find answers to frequently asked questions.

Can you just design the network and do the installation separately?

Yes – we can prepare a professional design and documentation with a coverage map. Installation can be performed by your technical department or a partner.

Will your network work with my WMS?

Yes – we design networks according to your system requirements. We work with clients using Asseco, Comarch, SAP, and Microsoft, among others.

Does the installation require shutting down part of the warehouse?

Not always – we schedule work to minimize downtime. If necessary, we work outside of normal operating hours.

Do you provide assistance in the event of a network failure after installation?

Yes – we offer care and service packages, including remotely. We can monitor your network and respond within 1-2 hours.

Do you need access to our server?

No – in many cases, we perform network design and configuration without access to internal infrastructure. Integration is negotiated individually.

How long does the entire process take – from audit to launch?

The entire process typically takes 2–4 weeks, depending on warehouse size and equipment availability. We work efficiently to minimize disruption to ongoing operations.
