WinRAR is one of the most popular file compression programs \u2013 many people have it on their computers and have been using it for years. Many people wrongly assume that WinRAR is free.<\/strong>, because after installation it is available immediately and seems to work without any limitations. In fact, WinRAR is shareware<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 this means that it can be legally used for free only for a limited time (trial period 40 days)<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>

After this period, the program continues to run and merely displays a reminder to register each time it's launched.
